Modules 1-9 released March 2012! Modules 10-17 will be available by June 2012.  The modules were developed as short and user-friendly modules that can be used by faculty members with varying levels of knowledge of Culture Competence to integrate into existing Allied Health program curricula.  DOWNLOAD MODULES

Nursing Clinical Faculty
A series of courses developed by Directors of three community college nursing programs; Margaret Craig - Napa Valley, Fran Brown - Solano Community College, and Meredith Harris - College of the Redwoods, to assist newly recruited nursing program faculty in their transition from nursing practice.

Polysomnography

Job Description:

PolysomnographyA polysomnographic technologist performs, monitors, and scores sleep studies. People with complaints of snoring, excessive daytime sleepiness, restless legs, and other sleep-related problems have overnight testing performed in sleep labs. PSG technicians attach several recording devices to the patient. Technicians then record the data on a computer overnight while the patient sleeps.  Sleep technicians often provide therapeutic intervention in cases of severe sleep apnea. They are also responsible for explaining CPAP and other treatments for patients with sleep apnea.
