CNA Southern Regional Testing Center Testing suspended

CNA Southern Regional Testing Center

In accordance with the CDC guidelines regarding Covid-19 Golden West College was closed today to all students, faculty, employees, and public until March 30th.  This closure caused the Southern Regional Testing Center office to close as well.  We will not have access to any registration applications and exams until the campus reopens on March 30th.  All mail sent to the RTC will be held and delivered to the campus when it reopens.

Considering the recommendations of the CDC, government and our testing company, Pearson VUE, we will be suspending all exams for at least 30 days or until April 16th.  Many of the students have already been registered and notified that there is an exam scheduled.  We will need your assistance in notifying your students that the nurse assistant certification exams through the period of April 16th are suspended.  If your facility is hosting an exam, please post a notice on campus that the exam has been suspended.  We will also leave a voice message on our mainline for students.  Our testing coordinators will be reaching out to you as well to arrange alternate exam dates. We realize that things are changing day by day, so please let us know as well if your campuses will be closed after April 16th.

Students that have already been registered for any exams during the suspension will not be charged an extra fee to reschedule their exams.

We appreciate your understanding during this difficult time.  These precautions were designed to protect the safety, health, and welfare of the students, staff, and community.
