QSEN in Your Curriculum: Assumptions, Active Learning and Assessments
Helping the student develop as a professional nurse requires an instructional design that promotes growth in clinical judgment. The Quality and Safety Education for Nurses (QSEN) Project offers faculty a framework to that end. Using the six competency domains, we will consider relevant learning activities across the curriculum. We will explore assumptions, active learning strategies, and assessments that promote growth in the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required of the nurse in today's healthcare industry.
